Fresh Track: Holy Ghost! “It Gets Dark”

The duo of Alex Frankel and Nick Millhiser know a thing or two about getting a stranger’s feet moving.  A little over a year after their superb self-titled debut LP, the fun returns with the release of Holy Ghost!’s  first new material in “It Gets Dark”.  When something isn’t broke, it certainly doesn’t need fixing, and their sound is as fresh as ever with more synths, a catchy chorus, and some funky bass lines to nudge you in the direction of the dance floor.  Like all the hits off their previous record, there’s an unquestionable mysterious sexiness here that elicits a natural life high of free love and pleasure.  And I, for one, can’t stop listening.  You can order the song today on vinyl via DFA Records or digitally on iTunes.
