Video: The War on Drugs – The Copenhagen Sessions
In September, Secretly Canadian’s The War on Drugs were on tour in Copenhagen when they linked up for a video shoot with They Shoot Music. The result was a semi-acoustic set in the dimly lit backyard of Christianshavn School. The up-and-coming Philadelphia band offers up a delicious, stripped-down version of “Brothers.” Watch below.

Video: Adam Kuhn Featured on FM Roots Radio
Indianapolis songwriter Adam Kuhn was featured on FM Roots Radio yesterday. Folly Moon Music President, Mike Martin promotes his brand as a platform that provides independent artists with the tools and resources that will allow them to make a living from their passion. This “dream big” mentality shines through all of the conversations that I have seen with FMM.
Kuhn is currently inked to Indianapolis label GloryHole Records. He just recorded his new album at Queensize Studios here in town. Kuhn brought in a backing band and this release will go under Adam Kuhn and the Hardcore Cutouts. I am really excited to listen to this release and I think it will help promote that country / Americana independent vibe that is becoming increasingly popular in Indianapolis venues.
Kuhn went on a brief tour with local legends, Margot and the Nuclear So and Sos which gives him instant credibility in my book. Watch this video to hear about Kuhn’s ex-wife, truck driving days, a new song, and the story behind Pepto-Bismol whiskey shots. Kuhn performs his latest track with his good friend Gabby. Congrats to FMM for their vision and my introduction to Adam Kuhn. I hope there are more Chicken Pot Pie in the Sky moments like this to come.
