The dynamic duo are at it again. Last night, The Keys debuted a video for their latest hit single “Gold on the Ceiling.” It is one of the better tracks from their latest effort of stadium-ready rock jams El Camino. Video: Laura K. Balke “Not For This”
Last week, local singer-songwriter Laura K. Balke dropped the official video for “Not For This,” a track from her album Rumors & Legends, released last fall. The video, that features Balke shedding long locks for a buzz cut, was directed by Xack Gibson of Bag Fry Productions. LKB recently returned from Snowbird Tour with fellow singer-songwriter John Davey. The tour sent the duo to Florida and back in a 16-day stint filled with everything from small clubs to impromptu house performances. Balke’s next show is scheduled for February 16 at The Melody Inn. Watch the video below.

Fresh Track: Beach Fossils “Shallow”
Brooklynites and Thought on Tracks favorites Beach Fossils released their first single since their acclaimed 2011 EP What A Pleasure this week. The song is called “Shallow” and will be released on a 7” February 21st via Captured Tracks along with another new track called “Lessons”. The song, which you can check out below, is the similar hazy, dream pop we’ve come to expect from the guys, and to me, that’s a very good thing. Rumored to be working on their sophomore LP currently, if this track didn’t make the cut, we are surely in for something great on the next album.
