Fresh Track: Oberhofer “Runaway” (Kanye West Cover)
Brooklyn’s Brad Oberhofer has garnered a significant amount of buzz in 2012 with the release of Time Capsules II. The band’s single “Away Frm U” has been in steady rotation around these parts. Oberhofer released its cover of Kanye West’s “Runaway” from his 2010 album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy for Record Store Day. The track trades Auto-tune for heavy synth lines, however it stays remarkably close to the original. Stream the track below.
