Video: Otis Gibbs “Made to Break”

Hoosier native and Nashville resident Otis Gibbs released a new album Harder than Hammered Hell at the end of February. On Friday, Gibbs dropped a video for the single “Made to Break.” I am taken as much by the visual as the audio that is on display below. Gibbs has a keen eye for the rusty treasures and unusual personalities that often line America’s less-traveled paths. Gibbs moonlights as a seriously talented photographer. Some of his photographs are available via his website. The video, though dynamic, plays from the perspective of a still photographer. I have no idea whether or not Gibbs shot the video himself, but the footage certainly falls in line with his other photographs. Take a gander below.
