New Video: Goldheart Assembly “Linnaeus”

by @thoughtontracks

Got my hands on a tasty new tune from across the pond yesterday. London’s Goldheart Assembly tugs on all my requisite heart strings on the first single from their forthcoming album. “Linnaeus” has the air of UK’s folk forefathers, like Nick Drake and John Martyn, with enough indie flair to keep from feeling stale or trite. This is the type of sleepy, uber-chill track that’s best served with a potent spliff. (Not that I would ever dabble in that sort of reprehensible behavior.) Watch the simple and effective video for “Linnaeus” below, and keep your eyes pealed for more tracks this spring.
