Dreamers of the Ghetto Kick Off Spring Tour
Bloomington, IN’s Dreamers of the Ghetto made a noteworthy splash in 2011. Their 2011 album Enemy / Lover, received considerable coverage from the indie blogosphere, resulting in the band performing at Shea Stadium by the end of the year. This week, Dreamers will play a handful of Midwestern tour dates, starting with tomorrow’s show at Otto’s in DeKalb. Check out their tour dates below, and go see these guys live!

Hotfox Shares Album Details
Local favorite Hotfox is busy at work and I can’t wait to hear how their sophomore LP sounds. If you are a regular of Thought on Tracks, you know that we gushed over their debut You, Me, and the Monster. This record not only gained a lot of attention from this blog, but several others outside of Indianapolis. Coming fresh off their selection to be part of the JanSport/Sonicbids SXSW Showcase. The band will also be one of 24 bands featured in the State of Music Showcase at J.Black’s on Wednesday, March 14. Hotfox has been extremely busy at work recording their next project. This week the band released a list of new songs that they have recorded.

Maps & Atlases Kick Off Tour in Bloomington
Chicago art rockers Maps & Atlases will kick off an extensive spring/summer tour with a show at The Bishop in Bloomington on March 8th. The band will be touring in support of their forthcoming LP, Beware and Be Grateful, due out on April 17th via British label Fat Cat Records.
